"Let food be your medicine and medicine be your food." – Hippocrates

We have been providing patients with nutritional therapy for 30 years. During this time, we introduced macrobiotic nutrition (George Osawa’s doctrine of the food), offered separate nutrition and a European diet with the calculation of proteins, fats, carbohydrates and vitamins. It took years. Ayurveda brought us closer to the understanding of what an individual diet is.

Following the principles
According to Ayurvedic science, everyone has their own body type (dosa), which can change depending on the seasons, wind, diseases, etc. It is in this light that we started preparing Ayurvedic food for our patients. Ayurveda attaches great importance to quality and freshness, to the feelings and emotions of the cook, and to the eye-catching presentation that we ourselves keep in mind.

Why is it efficient?
1. We prepare a diet for each of our patients according to their body type, as well as their illness or intolerance, as determined during medical consultations.

2. Our meals also follow the change of seasons and are prepared with the appropriate ingredients and cooking methods - also according to medical advice.

3. The primary process takes place in a pan. Special spices, masala (substances that make food more digestible) are prepared.

4. It is excluded meat, animal fats, coffee. Cereals, vegetables, fruits, fish (in moderation), herbal teas, sauces that improve digestion, the passage of the food, and intestinal motility are the basis of the healthy products.

5. Food should be very slight: a sick person has already wasted his energy on the disease, and his digestion is weak, so the food should be easily digestible.

Daily routine
  • Breakfast: 7.00 – 10.00

  • Kapha dominates in the morning hours, so breakfast should be plentiful, but should not contain any mucus forming ingredients (e.g. eggs, milk)
  • Lunch: 12.00 – 13.00

  • From 10am to 2pm, our body is dominated by Pitta, which is when the digestive fire, Agni, is awakened. We serve our patients a lunch that reduces Pitta and boosts the metabolism.
  • Dinner: 18.00 - 19.00

  • From 2pm to 6pm, Vata is dominant, so we need food that fuels the fire at night and gives us energy in the morning. This meal consists of a soup and a light meal to reduce Vata and help you get a sufficiently deep, restful sleep.
Weight-loss goals

Patients often come to us to lose weight. We do not count calories, because we know that overweight is a metabolic disorder. Therefore, we developed a special diet, the dishes of which facilitate and stimulate metabolic processes, so a person loses weight in his/her physiological way. This is a hunger by no manner of means!

The portions that we give in the clinic are large enough even for those who are losing weight (in fact, we have all the patients get thinner). This allows patients to avoid an abrupt transition from observational conditions into a real routine and continue to eat healthy.

Continuing in your everyday life

At the end of the course of treatment, each patient receives an Ayurvedic individual diet that is a list of healthy, neutral and harmful foods.

*At our clinic, the daily three meals are part of our therapeutic programs, and are included in the price of our treatment packages.
