About the programme
A comprehensive longevity programme
In-depth diagnostics, metabolic health and personalised recovery — 7, 14 or 21 days
Longevity is not simply more years of life, but years with a clear mind, a strong body and a stable metabolism. The LONGEVITY programme at CALENDULA combines medical diagnostics, individual nutrition, hormonal support when needed, Ayurvedic Panchakarma treatments and restorative movement therapy into one coordinated plan.
The programme’s concept takes into account processes associated with age-related changes: chronic inflammation, mitochondrial function and telomere status. In practice, we begin with the factors that can be assessed for each person. Everything starts with an objective assessment — so that your health strategy is based on facts rather than assumptions.
Care for your health is complemented by gentle skin care — helping you look as rested as you feel. If your main focus is appearance and body contours, our separate ANTI-AGE programme is designed for this.
Who the programme is for
The programme is for those who:
notice fatigue, signs of burnout or reduced endurance;
experience sleep disturbances;
are unhappy with changes in body composition;
want a systematic approach to preventing age-related risks;
are looking for one clear plan instead of disconnected tests and treatments.
Medical assessment and strategy
Everything begins with an examination by a doctor who compares test results with your health history and the goals of your visit. Extended investigations are prescribed only when their results will genuinely affect the treatment plan — without unnecessary testing for its own sake.
Laboratory diagnostics. An extended biochemical profile, metabolic indicators, vitamin and antioxidant deficiencies. Where indicated — markers of systemic inflammation and oxidative cell damage.
Longevity genetic profile. Analysis of genes associated with age-related risks and the body’s antioxidant defences (APOE, FOXO3, SIRT1, MTHFR, COMT and others). The result is neither a verdict nor a prediction of life expectancy, but an additional guide for the doctor when choosing a strategy.
APOE, FOXO3, SIRT1, MTHFR and COMT are gene names. APOE is associated with the transport of fats and cholesterol; FOXO3 and SIRT1 with the regulation of cellular processes and stress responses; MTHFR with folate (vitamin B9) metabolism; and COMT with the breakdown of certain signalling substances in the nervous system. An individual genetic variant does not determine a diagnosis or life expectancy: the doctor interprets the results alongside other information.
Assessment of stress, sleep and hormones. Hormonal status, hidden insulin resistance and, when necessary, the daily cortisol rhythm and melatonin level. The aim is to identify possible causes of fatigue and poor recovery.
Diagnostic investigations. Bone density measurement and bioelectrical impedance analysis of body composition. Skin ultrasound and 3D analysis are added separately if aesthetic concerns are also part of your goals.
What the programme includes
Nutrition for longevity. A diet tailored to you with sufficient protein for muscles and restorative meals for bones, ligaments and skin. Intermittent eating is discussed individually, taking health and current medicines into account.
Panchakarma and metabolic recovery. The classical Ayurvedic triad: Snehana oleation, Svedana herbal steam treatments and Virecana cleansing. A short course uses a lighter version: Pacana preparation, Abhyanga massage and relaxing Shirodhara. Panchakarma is a traditional approach that complements, but does not replace, treatment of diagnosed diseases.
Hormonal balance. An endocrinologist assesses age-related hormonal changes and, where indicated, proposes correction, including bioidentical hormones and thyroid care. If you are interested in herbal medicine or organotherapy, the products are selected separately and checked for compatibility with your main treatment.
Cellular ageing: what science says. With age, some cells stop dividing but remain active and affect neighbouring tissues — these are called senescent cells. Science is studying substances such as quercetin, fisetin, NMN, spermidine and coenzyme Q10 in this context. Their effectiveness in extending human life has not been established. Experimental senolytic regimens are not included in the courses offered; research-related questions can be discussed with the doctor.
Microbiome. Synbiotic support — a combination of probiotics and prebiotics. Live bifidobacteria and lactobacilli, a prebiotic environment, dietary fibre and a suitable menu are selected to support digestive comfort and the microbiota.
Movement therapy. Aerobic activity at your target heart rate, strength exercises to counter age-related muscle loss, yoga, pranayama and qigong — the intensity is tailored to your fitness and stage of recovery.
Skin care. Microcurrent or LED light therapy, serums and LONG VITAL cream — a focused skin-care routine without the full ANTI-AGE programme.
The exact examinations and treatments are determined at the initial medical assessment, taking into account indications, contraindications and your goals. Each course — 7, 14 or 21 days — is a complete, self-contained medical cycle, from the first meeting to the final recommendations. A longer course offers greater depth of assessment and recovery; it is not a mandatory next step after a shorter one.
A biochemical reset and hormonal stress support
A one-week course aimed at reducing fatigue, supporting sleep and recovering from prolonged stress. The course includes medical assessment, gentle Ayurvedic treatments, personalised nutrition and movement practice. It concludes with a final consultation and a plan for home — there is no need to extend your stay for this.
Diagnostics. Blood biochemistry and the inflammation marker hs-CRP, bioelectrical impedance analysis of body composition. Where indicated — assessment of the cortisol awakening response. 3D skin analysis is available on separate request.
Nutrition. An anti-inflammatory diet with hypoallergenic adjustments when needed. Synbiotic support and dietary fibre — according to tolerance.
Ayurveda and the body. The Pacana preparatory regimen, Abhyanga oil massage and relaxing Shirodhara — warm oil applied to the forehead.
Hormones. An initial assessment of hormonal balance by a doctor. Herbal products and sleep aids, including melatonin, are considered where indicated, taking into account the causes of the symptoms.
Skin care. Microcurrent or LED care, serums and LONG VITAL cream — without intensive lifting.
Movement. Morning mobility exercises, cardio walking at a comfortable pace and evening pranayama breathing practice.
Course goals and final consultation. The goals are to support sleep and tolerance of everyday activity; results are individual. At the final consultation, the doctor reviews examination results and gives recommendations on nutrition, sleep routine and exercise — with a clear plan for what to do next.
Metabolic recovery and hormonal balance
Two weeks focusing on fat and carbohydrate metabolism, hormonal factors and an individually selected course of classical Panchakarma. A complete, self-contained cycle — there is no need to take the seven-day course beforehand.
Diagnostics. Extended biochemistry (lipid profile, homocysteine, glycated haemoglobin HbA1c) and bioelectrical impedance analysis. Where indicated — cortisol, melatonin and bone densitometry. Skin ultrasound — on separate request.
Nutrition. A longevity diet with individually selected intervals between meals. The restorative dish kheer — according to tolerance. Synbiotic support throughout the course.
Panchakarma. The classical sequence: Snehana oleation, Svedana herbal steam treatments and Virecana cleansing, with preparation and recovery stages. The doctor determines whether the course is suitable for you, not the length of your stay.
Hormones. Correction where there are confirmed indications. The herbal formulas WOMEN ELIXIR or HUAN SHAO DAN are considered separately — as a complement to, not a replacement for, hormone therapy.
Skin care. Microcurrent or LED care and LONG VITAL products — the course’s main focus remains medical care.
Movement. Qigong, cardio within your capabilities, yoga and breathing practices — with intensity coordinated with the Panchakarma stage.
Course goals and final consultation. The goals are to address identified metabolic factors and support recovery after treatments. The final consultation includes assessment of well-being and changes in indicators, a completed plan for nutrition and activity, and a schedule for treatment monitoring. Moving on to a three-week course is not required.
Comprehensive recovery and a structured approach to longevity
Three weeks for an in-depth health assessment, a personalised Ayurvedic pathway and full recovery. The entire cycle — from the first examination to the final consultation — takes place during one stay. Longer observation allows the team to assess how you tolerate treatment and build a health strategy for the next 6–12 months.
Diagnostics. A full check-up, extended hormone panel, follow-up bioelectrical impedance analysis and functional endurance tests. Where indicated — a genetic profile (APOE, FOXO3, SIRT1, MTHFR and others) and bone densitometry.
Nutrition. An individual longevity diet with nutrition for muscles, bones and skin. Synbiotic support throughout the course and restorative kheer as part of the menu.
Panchakarma. An individually selected range of classical treatments, taking metabolism into account. The plan always includes time for a comfortable return to your usual diet and activity after treatments.
Hormones. Individual treatment adjustments under an endocrinologist’s supervision, assessment of the response to therapy and the need for further support. The possible use of CoQ10 and other supportive products is discussed with you individually.
Skin care. Microcurrent or LED care, serums and LONG VITAL cream — supportive care; deep lifting and injectable protocols are not part of this pathway.
Movement. Regular qigong, cardio activity, muscle-strengthening exercises, yoga and pranayama — with guidance to continue practising at home.
Course goals and final consultation. At the final consultation, the doctor compares examination results, well-being and endurance — and you leave with a long-term strategy for nutrition, movement and medical follow-up for 6–12 months, with clear monitoring dates. This is a prepared personal plan, not a promise of a specific degree of rejuvenation.
The exact examinations, procedures and prescriptions in each course are determined by the doctor at the initial assessment, taking into account indications, contraindications and compatibility of methods. Some investigations (genetic profiles, specific biomarkers) are performed on medical indication and are not automatically included in every course.
