About the programme
Comprehensive longevity programme
In-depth diagnostics, metabolic health and personalised recovery — 7, 14 or 21 days
Longevity is not simply about living more years, but about years with a clear mind, a strong body and stable metabolism. The LONGEVITY programme at CALENDULA brings together medical diagnostics, personalised nutrition, hormonal support when needed, Ayurvedic Panchakarma procedures and restorative movement therapy in one coherent plan.
The programme concept takes into account processes associated with age-related changes: chronic inflammation, mitochondrial function and telomere status. Practical work begins with factors that can be assessed in the individual. Everything starts with an objective evaluation, so that the health strategy is based on facts rather than assumptions.
Care for your overall wellbeing is complemented by gentle skin care — a rested-looking face naturally accompanies renewed energy. If your priority is specifically appearance and body contours, there is a separate ANTI-AGE programme for this.
Who the programme is for
The programme is for people who:
notice fatigue, signs of burnout or reduced stamina;
experience sleep disturbances;
are unhappy with changes in body composition;
want to take a systematic approach to preventing age-related risks;
want one clear plan instead of fragmented tests and procedures.
Medical assessment and strategy
Everything begins with a doctor’s examination, in which test results are considered alongside your health history and the goals of your visit. Extended investigations are ordered only when the result will genuinely affect the treatment plan — without unnecessary tests for their own sake.
Laboratory diagnostics. An extended biochemical profile, metabolic indicators, and vitamin and antioxidant deficiencies. Where indicated, markers of systemic inflammation and oxidative cell damage are assessed.
Longevity genetic profile. Analysis of genes associated with age-related risks and the body’s antioxidant defence (APOE, FOXO3, SIRT1, MTHFR, COMT and others). The result is neither a verdict nor a prediction of lifespan, but an additional reference point for the doctor when choosing a strategy.
APOE, FOXO3, SIRT1, MTHFR and COMT are gene names. APOE is associated with the transport of fats and cholesterol; FOXO3 and SIRT1 with the regulation of cellular processes and the stress response; MTHFR with folate (vitamin B9) metabolism; and COMT with the breakdown of certain signalling substances in the nervous system. A single genetic variant does not determine a diagnosis or lifespan: the doctor evaluates the significance of the results together with other data.
Assessment of stress, sleep and hormones. Hormonal status, hidden insulin resistance and, where necessary, the daily cortisol rhythm and melatonin level. The aim is to identify possible causes of fatigue and poor recovery.
Diagnostic investigations. Bone densitometry and bioimpedance body composition analysis. Skin ultrasound and 3D analysis are added separately if there is also an aesthetic focus.
What the programme includes
Nutrition for longevity. A personalised diet with sufficient protein for muscles and restorative dishes for bones, ligaments and skin. Time-restricted eating is discussed individually, taking health conditions and current medications into account.
Panchakarma and metabolic recovery. The classic Ayurvedic triad: oiling with Snehana, herbal steam procedures with Svedana, and cleansing with Virecana. A shorter course uses a gentler version: Pacana preparation, Abhyanga massage and relaxing Shirodhara. Panchakarma is a traditional approach that complements, but does not replace, treatment for diagnosed conditions.
Hormonal balance. An endocrinologist assesses age-related hormonal changes and, where indicated, recommends treatment, including bioidentical hormones and management of thyroid function. If there is interest in phytotherapy and organotherapy, the composition of products is selected separately, with compatibility with the main treatment checked.
Cellular ageing: what science says. With age, some cells stop dividing but remain active and affect neighbouring tissues — these are called senescent cells. Science is studying substances such as quercetin, fisetin, NMN, spermidine and coenzyme Q10 in this context. Their effectiveness in extending human lifespan has not been established. Experimental senolytic regimens are not included in the programmes offered; research-related questions can be discussed with the doctor.
Microbiome. Synbiotic support — a combination of probiotics and prebiotics. Live bifidobacteria and lactobacilli, a prebiotic environment, dietary fibre and a suitable menu are selected to support digestive comfort and the microbiota.
Movement therapy. Aerobic activity at your target heart rate, strength exercises to counter age-related muscle loss, yoga, pranayama and qigong — intensity is tailored to your fitness level and stage of recovery.
Skin care. Microcurrent therapy or LED light therapy, serums and LONG VITAL cream — a concise skincare routine without the full ANTI-AGE programme.
The exact set of investigations and procedures is determined at the initial examination, taking into account indications, contraindications and your goals. Each course — 7, 14 or 21 days — is a complete, stand-alone medical cycle, from the first meeting to the final recommendations. A longer course means more in-depth assessment and recovery; it is not an obligatory next step after a shorter course.
