Colonoscopy

Dr. János Kersák, with decades of experience and outstanding professional expertise, welcomes patients at our clinic for gastroenterological examinations. During a colonoscopy, he examines the entire inner surface of the large intestine, as well as the final section of the small intestine, using a flexible instrument equipped with a camera and light source. The purpose of colonoscopy is the early detection of colorectal diseases—such as inflammation, polyps, and tumors—or to determine the cause of symptoms (bleeding, diarrhea, pain). The examinations are performed under sedation.
