Our method

The holistic medical approach applied by Calendula Clinic is based on the integration of ancient Ayurvedic medicine, traditional Chinese medicine (TCM), and the most advanced Western medical technologies. The essence of the method lies in personalized therapy, addressing the root causes of disease while also alleviating symptoms.

The foundation of the “Calendula Method” approach is a system of a healthy lifestyle, which includes proper nutrition, daily routine, physical activity, movement-based therapies, exercise and yoga practices, as well as scientifically grounded and carefully structured traditional medical treatments.

The uniqueness of the clinic lies in its scientifically grounded integration of the world’s three main medical systems: modern Western medicine, Ayurvedic medicine, and traditional Chinese medicine. This synthesis often makes it possible to address the root causes of diseases and supports curative treatment.

The Calendula Clinic also has its own laboratory, where therapeutic preparations are made from natural plant-based ingredients. This makes it possible to create personalized medicinal formulas for each patient. Phytotherapy is an essential part of the healing process.

Main characteristics of the Calendula method:

· personalized approach

· holistic approach

· comprehensive diagnostics and therapy

· cellular-level cleansing and regeneration

· personalized phytotherapy

Basics

Philosophy:
The patient is God's creation, and we serve him. There is no single recipe for everyone in the world: as many people, as many diseases, as many solutions. Only an individual approach to the choice of therapies and procedures, personalised medicine, high quality service and comfort can work together.

Consultation:
The beginning of healing is the personal relationship between the doctor and the patient. The primary task of the doctor is to correctly diagnose the condition and determine the correct system of therapy. For this purpose, we use the methods of Ayurvedic and traditional Western diagnostics: verbal exploration, personal visit, pulse diagnostics, laboratory and instrumental tests. The first consultation lasts 40-45 minutes. The therapeutic patients of our clinic start their day with a medical visit every morning.

Modern diagnostic basics:
Research using innovative medical techniques, and their integration with alternative medical systems, allows us as doctors to accurately determine the patient's current condition and at the same time start the necessary treatment. The full spectrum of laboratory research can be carried out at the clinic.

Complex programmes:
The treatment programme includes all necessary therapies for the patient. The programmes are designed to activate the body's natural protective and self-sustaining functions as quickly as possible. Complex procedures are aimed at identifying the symptoms and the causes of their development. Patients receive a schedule of individualised treatments each day.

Ayurveda

Ayurveda is the world’s oldest healthcare system. It is more than a science; it is simultaneously a medical, religious, and philosophical system. Ayurveda is a holistic healing system originating from India thousands of years ago, which aims to maintain the balance of the human body, mind, and spirit.

Principle:

According to Ayurveda, health is not merely the absence of disease, but the harmonious functioning of the body, mind, and consciousness. Every person carries these qualities in a unique proportion. An imbalance may lead to physical or mental problems.

How it works:

Ayurveda uses a personalized approach. It takes into account an individual’s body constitution, digestion, lifestyle, emotional state, and environmental influences. Treatment is not only symptomatic; it aims to identify the root causes and restore balance.

The essence of Ayurveda is prevention, supporting vital energy (prana), and strengthening the body’s natural self-healing processes. It is not only a system of healing but also a way of life that adapts to the seasons, times of day, and individual constitution. Panchakarma is one of the most profound cleansing and restorative therapeutic systems in Ayurveda.

Purpose:

· Removal of accumulated toxins (ama) from the body

· Restoration of dosha balance (vata, pitta, kapha)

· Strengthening digestion and metabolism

· Supporting the immune system

· Promoting physical and mental renewal

Panchakarma is not merely “detoxification,” but a complex, personalized process consisting of preparatory treatments, cleansing procedures, and a regenerative phase. Its goal is to activate the body’s natural self-healing abilities and to establish lasting balance. In 2003, the WHO recommended Ayurvedic cleansing therapy as one of the most effective methods for preventing cardiovascular diseases.

Traditional Chinese Medicine

TCM is the abbreviation for Traditional Chinese Medicine. It is a holistic healing system with a history of several thousand years, which views the human body as a harmony of energies and functional processes.

The basic concepts of TCM include:

· Qi – the vital energy that flows through the meridians

· Yin and Yang – the balance of complementary, opposing qualities

· Five Elements (Wood, Fire, Earth, Metal, Water) – a model of relationships between functional systems

The aim is to harmonize the flow of energy (Qi), restore the balance of Yin and Yang, prevent diseases, support the body’s self-healing processes, and create physical and mental harmony.

Therapies: acupuncture, herbal therapy, cupping, moxibustion, nutritional counseling, Qi Gong, and Tai Chi.

TCM does not merely treat symptoms, but seeks to identify and correct the underlying patterns of imbalance.

Phytopreparations

Phytotherapy is an inseparable part of healing. The clinic has its own laboratory, where medicinal preparations are produced based on ancient Ayurvedic, traditional Eastern, and Arab healing recipes. In addition to those used in Ayurveda and TCM practice, unique medicinal preparations are also created—personally tailored. After the clinical treatment period, the patient can continue the healing process at home with the prescribed medicinal products. Individually formulated remedies are also prepared in a personalized manner.

Healthy lifestyle

The specialists at CALENDULA follow a healthy lifestyle and adhere to the principles of a vegetarian diet. We conduct educational projects both at the clinic and abroad. We participate in international exhibitions and conferences. We provide follow-up care after the completion of the treatment period, as well as remote consultations regarding the use of phytopreparations and the continuation of phytotherapy. Every patient receives guidance on the recommended lifestyle to follow, as well as an individualized diet based on their body type.
