Nervous system disorders make life difficult for many people, making everyday tasks impossible and limiting normal functioning. Because neurological diseases take many forms, they can affect people's lives in different ways. Facial nerve pain causes painful seizures, while migraine headaches and sleep disturbances make everyday life difficult. Nervous system diseases and disorders can be treated well with both modern and ancient Eastern medicine.
A migraine headache an intense, throbbing pain that often occurs on one side and can last for hours or even days. Accompanying symptoms may include nausea, vomiting, sensitivity to light and sound. Migraines can significantly impair quality of life and interfere with everyday activities.
The treatment of migraine headaches is multifaceted and consists of a combination of different treatment programmes. On the one hand, Ayurvedic treatments are relaxing, stress-relieving and calming, which helps the patient to recharge mentally and spiritually and reduce stress levels in the long term. The treatment also includes cleansing and regeneration of the facial and nasal cavities, which relaxes the muscles of the head, reducing the frequency and intensity of seizures.
Trigeminal neuralgia (trigeminal neuralgia) is a sudden, sharp attack of pain on one side of the face. These attacks can last from a few seconds to a few minutes and can make everyday activities such as eating, talking and smiling extremely painful.
How is facial nerve root treatment done?
Facial neuralgia can be treated using a combination of modern Western and ancient Chinese medicine. The former involves the use of medication. The latter involves cellular cleansing Ayurvedic treatments, and also aims to promote healing through muscle-relaxing therapeutic massage, warm herbal compresses and physiotherapy.
Sleep disturbances include difficulty falling asleep, waking up frequently at night and waking up early. Insufficient sleep can lead to fatigue, concentration problems, irritability and, in the long term, serious health problems.
The first step in the treatment of sleep disorders is to identify the underlying causes, which can be used to tailor the treatment to the individual. If medication is the cause of sleep disturbance, finding alternatives and detoxifying the body is a targeted treatment. If nervous system problems, stress or anxiety are the cause, breathing exercises, relaxation massages, Ayurvedic therapies and other soothing procedures are effective in treating sleep disorders.
In addition to migraine headaches, facial neuralgia and sleep disorders, other neurological problems can also be treated at the Calendula Clinic through a personalised treatment programme. These may include:
At the Calendula Clinic, we combine the diagnostic methods of modern Western medicine with the therapeutic treatments of traditional Chinese medicine, tested over thousands of years. We see the patient not just as a body, but as a living whole. In this way, we use a holistic approach to heal both body and mind, which can lead to a complete cure.
Results vary from person to person, but usually there is a noticeable improvement in symptoms and well-being within a few weeks. Well-being improves within days, stress is significantly reduced, mental health is stabilised, and symptoms of the disease are reduced or even disappear.
Treatment programmes are personalised and tailored to individual needs. A detailed quote can be provided during the initial consultation. Our prices include some diagnostic tests, a treatment programme with ongoing monitoring and meals. Accommodation is extra, depending on the type of treatment chosen, but treatments can also be provided on an outpatient basis.

The duration of treatment programmes depends on the individual needs of the patient and the type of metabolic disorder. They usually range from a few days to two to three weeks, depending on the underlying disease and the treatment options available.
During your initial consultation, you will have a detailed discussion and examination, where our doctors will thoroughly assess your condition and health needs. An individual treatment plan will then be drawn up for you, including any necessary therapies.
A wide range of therapies are available at the Calendula Clinic, including herbal therapies, massage treatments, acupuncture, movement therapy and others. All these therapies are personalised to your needs and health condition.
We recommend that you book three to four weeks in advance. For end-of-year and early season bookings, we recommend sending your reservation request at least two months in advance. However, if you would like to come to our clinic at any time, please contact our staff, because there can be a vacancy at any time, which can be favourable for a sudden idea-driven booking.
It is possible to receive treatment without prior consultation, but we recommend that our Hungarian patients attend a prior medical consultation. If you have a reservation in our clinic but have not yet had a consultation, you can discuss your treatment needs with our doctors on the day of your arrival, during your first visit, and they can decide together on the therapy depending on your state of health.
Neurological diseases are well treatable, but neglecting them can lead to more serious complications. Do not wait until the last minute and book an appointment for a medical consultation.
