Dr János Kersák, our excellent doctor, uses an endoscope to examine the inner surface of the oesophagus, stomach and duodenum (the first part of the small intestine) during a gastroscopy. The aim of the examination is to find the cause of complaints (pain, reflux, difficulty swallowing) and to diagnose inflammations, ulcers, polyps and tumours.
