Metamer therapy is a method of exposing medications through metamers, administered consecutively along the body’s longitudinal axis. The injected substance has a direct effect on nerve cells, thus impacting the structure of the nerve cells. During the therapy, medications are used that affect the central nervous system, peripheral neurotransmitter processes, and the region of sensitive nerve endings.

The indications for metamer therapy are:

How does it work?

The human body consists of metamers. During embryonic development, our body formed in segments, called metamers. In metamer therapy, we induce a therapeutic effect both locally and at distant points. We inject therapeutic, vitamin-like substances into different points of the body. Usually, we use cerebrolysin, a neuropeptide with beneficial effects on nerve cells. It regenerates the myelin sheath surrounding nerve fibers, improving nerve signal transmission. It also has a neuroprotective effect, protecting nerve cells from oxidative damage. It positively impacts memory and concentration. This therapy is used as a complementary treatment for radiating pain, numbness, or other symptoms in the arms, shoulders, or lower limbs caused by herniated discs in the spine. It is also used for muscle paralysis, polyneuropathy, and after a brain stroke.
Metamer therapy is based on the principles of reflexology. Depending on the localization of the movement disorders, 10-20 points are injected in one phase at the main metamers (the doctor selects and combines the appropriate points for each case).

Result:

When eliminating pain syndromes, the vertebrae gain physiological flexibility and strength.
