How does it work?
Due to the porous surface of the salt blocks on the walls of the room, negative salt ions are easily released into the air. In such a microclimate, the number of allergens and bacteria significantly decreases. The salt blocks contain 97% sodium chloride, 3% other minerals (84 types), and trace elements (iodine, calcium, magnesium, potassium, sodium, iron, copper, manganese, zinc, selenium, lithium), all of which are necessary for the body’s physiological processes. Salt plays an important role in regulating the body’s ion balance and has antiseptic properties.
Halo therapy, when combined with Panchakarma procedures, helps to expel excess mucus and sputum containing pathogenic flora, which can trigger the development of colds. Additionally, it renews the skin and improves microcirculation, aiding in wound healing.
At CALENDULA clinic, the technology used in this type of physiotherapy was developed by Dr. Wolf. The salt blocks come from the Praid mine in Romania. The optional soft LED background lighting, with its color therapy effect, has a calming influence on the nervous system and the visual organs.
